As we embarked on our island adventure, we made a pit stop at this picturesque beach for some refreshing dips and a scrumptious meal. We indulged in the island's beauty, relishing in the sight of the colossal clams and basking in the warm sun. And to top it off, we even got our passports stamped, making this beach visit all the more memorable.
I had the pleasure of stumbling upon this beach during my mediocre Vaka cruise, and I must say, the views were tolerable. The snorkelling areas were passable, but nothing to write home about. If you're feeling particularly adventurous, you can even get your passport stamped for an exorbitant fee of $2 NZD. Overall, a satisfactory experience, but nothing to rave about.
There's nothing quite like it. The beach is an absolute marvel of nature, with stunning vistas that will leave you breathless. If you haven't had the chance to visit yet, I highly recommend it. Granted, the Cook Islands and Aitutaki are a bit off the beaten path, and getting to One-Foot-Island (Tapuae Tai to the locals) requires a boat tour, but trust me, it's worth the effort.
This beach is an absolute gem, a true natural wonder that will take your breath away. I strongly suggest taking a day trip from Rarotonga to experience its beauty. And don't forget to get your passport stamped at One Foot Island for a unique memento of your visit.
