This beach was a major disappointment. Despite being touted as the best in Paphos, it was nothing more than a vast expanse of sand and water. The only reason it wasn't crowded was because we visited during the winter months. I shudder to think of how packed it must be during the summer season. The water was clear, but that was about the only redeeming quality. The beach itself was unremarkable and lacked any real character or charm. The sand was fine, but not particularly soft, and the slope into the water was gradual and uninteresting. While there were plenty of parking spots and toilets, the little café was nothing to write home about. The views of the sunset were nice, but hardly worth the effort of visiting such a lackluster beach. Overall, I would not recommend this beach to anyone looking for a memorable experience. It's fine for a quick dip or a bit of snorkeling, but there are much better options out there
This stunning beach boasts all the amenities you could ask for, just steps away from the sandy shore. Don't forget to pack your swimsuit so you can take a refreshing dip in the crystal-clear water before settling in for a relaxing read or leisurely sunbathing session. And when the sun starts to set, make your way to the rocks on the left side of the beach for an awe-inspiring view of the sky ablaze with color. As an added bonus, we stumbled upon an ice cream truck on the pathway - the vendor was incredibly friendly and even spoke a bit of German! The ice cream was beyond delicious and the perfect treat to top off a day of beachside bliss.
If you have a penchant for beach excursions during vacations, then this is the beach that will satiate your desires. With its picturesque sandy shore and transparent waters, it is an ideal spot for snorkelling enthusiasts. Moreover, there is a small beach bar that serves delectable food and refreshing beverages. Adventurous souls can also indulge in water sports activities such as pedalo and jet ski rides, and even try their hand at parasailing. Although we rented a car to reach the beach, you can avail of the regular bus service from Paphos Harbour. A visit to this beach is a must for anyone in the Paphos region.
This beach, situated just a short 15-minute drive from Paphos, boasts a rather pleasant stretch of sand. The water is a crisp blue and appears to be relatively clean. For those who enjoy partaking in water sports, you'll be pleased to know that they are available here. And if you're in need of a refreshing beverage, there's a bar nearby. However, it's worth noting that the privilege of using the showers will cost you a measly euro. So, if you're feeling particularly grimy, be prepared to fork over some extra cash.
Coral Bay has been a disappointment as there are no visible corals, only a few marine creatures. While the view from the cliffs is undoubtedly stunning, the name "Coral Bay" suggests that there should be more coral formations to explore. To make matters worse, the majority of the public beach is taken up by individuals who charge for sunbeds, leaving little space for those who want to enjoy the beach for free. It's frustrating that even though the beach is technically free, visitors are forced to either pay or squeeze into the small area that isn't occupied by the sunbed vendors.
