Ah, the Dominican Republic, where the beaches are as common as local vendors peddling their wares. This particular stretch of sand is certainly a sight to behold, by local standards at least. Don't expect a paved road to lead you here though, you'll have to navigate the winding paths and dusty trails like a true adventurer. Once you arrive, you'll be greeted by a stunning view of the ocean, marred only by the unsightly algae and litter that seems to be everywhere you turn. But hey, what's a little trash and slimy green stuff between beachgoers, right? It just adds to the rustic charm of the place. So come on down to this beautiful beach, where the sand is soft, the water is warm, and the vendors are eager to sell you everything from fresh fruit to handmade trinkets. Just be sure to watch your step and avoid the algae, unless you're into that sort of thing.
I was absolutely enamored with this beach for its plethora of aquatic activities and the opportunity to go horseback riding. Though I can't recall the exact pricing, I do remember being pleasantly surprised by how affordable everything was. The locals were incredibly hospitable and went out of their way to ensure my comfort. One of my favorite memories was encountering a young man who strolled along the shoreline with a macaw and a tiny monkey, snapping photos with anyone who was interested. It was truly a delightful experience.
This beach is absolutely incredible! Although there is a small section of stone road, it is easily accessible for any mode of transportation. The beach itself is stunning and perfect for families with children. You'll find plenty of shade trees to relax under and enjoy the breathtaking scenery. Overall, this beach is a must-visit destination for anyone looking for a memorable and enjoyable day in the sun.
Our group of 12 individuals opted to explore this particular beach destination. Upon arrival, we had to endure a bumpy and poorly maintained dirt road to access the beach. However, our SUVs made it easier to navigate compared to other vehicles struggling to reach the beach. As soon as we got to the beach, we noticed that it was bustling with a multitude of people. There were plenty of food stalls and visitors everywhere, with some wearing masks and others not. We decided to venture further back and found a less crowded spot. We had to pay for parking and cheap chairs, and the restrooms were not well-maintained, with no running water. Despite the lack of amenities, we chose to stay as it was less crowded. We had the place to ourselves, with a few individuals walking along the beach and horseback riders passing by. The beach was decent, although it could have been better maintained. Stray dogs roamed around, but they did not bother us. The water
