The beach is incredibly stunning, but it's not the easiest to access, like most coves in this area. As a result, it's not very crowded. The sand is fine and has a yellowish-red hue. The seabed is deep and not far from the shore. I particularly enjoyed the desert-like landscape of the gullies that encircle the sea.
The beach is situated between clusters of rocks and is popular among families due to its accessibility by car. However, we personally opted to reach the beach by sea using a kayak from Marina di Palma. The journey across the untamed sea was quite thrilling, and we were fortunate enough to witness a nesting site of the caretta caretta turtle.
The beach in Palma di Montechiaro municipality has golden sand and is surrounded by rocks of varying sizes.
The beach is absolutely stunning, with its paradisiacal beauty. However, it is unfortunate that there is an asbestos landfill, discarded tires, asbestos tanks, broken glass, and other types of waste scattered around. Despite these issues, it is still an ideal spot.
The road downhill is a little rough, but it's manageable with any car (we were driving a panda). This beach is a hidden gem, only known to the locals. The sand is incredibly fine, and the water is crystal clear, with clay mounds surrounding it. It's absolutely stunning.
