Castropol hotel beach

Overall, I appreciate Kastropol for its natural beauty, seaside, and location. The fact that it retains its "soviet" infrastructure adds to its charm. We stayed from May 18 to May 29 and enjoyed the hotel, which was very quiet and peaceful since there was only one other family there. However, as we were leaving, more people started to arrive, making it a bit noisy. When the hotel and neighboring guest houses are fully occupied, it might not be as relaxing. The rooms could use some updates, such as replacing the outdated TVs and the worn-out Teflon pans in the kitchen. Additionally, the Wi-Fi signal is weak and needs improvement. The rooms are spacious, with some featuring large balconies. The property also offers its own parking, a barbecue area with a veranda, and a swimming pool. It's a good place for a reasonable price.

We visited for the second year in a row, this time at the beginning of May. We enjoyed our stay and would have extended it if the cost had been more reasonable. We stayed in a studio room with a kitchen on the 4th floor. There was no WiFi in the room, and the Internet was generally unavailable, which allowed us to disconnect and relax without gadgets. Connectivity was only possible on the balcony near the railing. The room had two chairs and one table, which could be used either in the kitchen or on the balcony, but not both at the same time. The kitchen had minimal utensils, so it's advisable to bring your own knife as the provided one was very dull. The bathroom required ventilation and the exhaust fan needed to be turned on to prevent a sewage smell. Our room was cleaned daily, provided we left the keys at the reception. The pool was warm, and we enjoyed swimming with our child. The linens were clean and changed every four days. The staff was friendly, and we had a pleasant stay. It took about 3-5 minutes to walk to the sea with a child at a leisurely pace. A round trip to the store amounted to about 8,000 steps. In early May, none of the cafes in the village were open. The nearest place to get ready-made food was a Serbian restaurant on the highway, where the prices were comparable to those in Moscow. The service was good, and the food was delicious.

This hotel is excellent. My family and I have been staying here for 6 years. 1. The food is delicious and flavorful. 2. The beach is just a 5-minute walk from the hotel. 3. The staff is always ready to assist. 4. There is an outdoor restaurant with a canopy. 5. Walking routes start directly from the hotel. 6. There are cottages available with their own parking spaces. 7. Wi-Fi is available on the first and second floors of the hotel (there are 4 floors in total). 8. You can reach the store by car in 15 minutes. 9. There is a swimming pool with warm water located under the open-air restaurant. I really enjoy this place.

The place is quiet and cozy, with beautiful landscapes and a clear sea that enhance the experience. However, our initial reaction to the room was not very good: instead of the advertised double bed, there were two single beds, and the shower was small for a person of medium build. Wi-Fi only worked on the first floor; there was none on the 4th floor where we stayed. We were told that the signal was blocked from getting through. But when we woke up in the morning and looked out the panoramic window, we forgave all the shortcomings of this hotel. The friendly and welcoming staff completely won us over, and we ended up staying here for the entire vacation without any regrets. In general, if you are a romantic and prefer a quiet and simple holiday without loud embankments and parties, then this is the place for you. By the way, be sure to visit the mountain plateau at the foot of which Kastropol is located.

The hotel has a family-friendly atmosphere. We traveled with children and were provided with cribs. The surroundings are clean and pleasant, but I would rate the pool 4 stars. I was hesitant to dive in due to a yellowish coating on the bottom. However, the natural scenery is breathtaking, the seashore is pristine, and the water is crystal clear. It's just a 4-minute walk to the beach. Thank you, we will definitely return!
