Platja de les Pots is an ideal spot to take it easy and soak up some sun. Located right beside the Palamós marina, it's a sheltered cove with a mix of sand and pebbles, as well as rocks, offering a safe haven from gusts like the Tramuntana. The waters are crystal clear and it's easy to get to, making it a great destination for families and groups of friends.
Nestled close to the city centre, a small cove can be reached via a walkway around the sea with stunning views. Cacti surround the area and further down the shoreline lies a lookout point, perfect for relaxation. In the morning, there is plenty of shade to rest in if desired. Further along the shoreline lies Cala Santa Margarita.
This little cove may be small, but it's undeniably attractive. You'd better bring your rock shoes, as there are plenty of them around, and some areas can be prone to landslides. In summer, it's packed with people and dogs, so if you want to find a spot to lay your towel, you'll need to arrive early. Perfect if you're into snorkeling.
This secluded beach is the perfect spot to spend a day in the sun. It's located between Cala Margarita and the marina, so it's quiet and peaceful. Plus, it's small enough that if you arrive early in the summer, you can have the beach to yourself without the crowds.
Bona vista may be a decent spot for a beach day, but it's far from perfect. The sand is coarse and uncomfortable, the water is murky and uninviting, and the crowds can be overwhelming. It's not the best place to relax and soak up the sun.
