San Miguel de Tajao, a small coastal town in the town of Arico, is home to a small fishing port, and a black sand beach with stones on the shore. It's the perfect place to spend a day soaking up the sun and taking in the tranquil atmosphere. What's more, it's easy to access, so you don't need to go out of your way to get there. After your beach visit, take advantage of the rocky surroundings to take souvenir photos and then treat yourself to a delicious meal at one of the local restaurants which offer fresh seafood and fish. It's the perfect place to relax and disconnect from the city.
Playa Puerto de Tajao is an absolutely fantastic spot - it's easy to access and provides a great experience.
Used to stop here on Sundays coming back from the Rastro in Santa Cruz, my friend lived in his van that he parked on the caravan site betreen Tajao and La Caleta. It's been five years since I last visited, and the village has really developed since then. It's a truly beautiful place and perfect for families with small children, offering peace and quiet. made up of gray pebbles which means it's not the best spot for sun-seekers, but there are plenty of excellent fish restaurants and traditional Tennerife bars to enjoy. There's no nightclubs or anything to disturb the peace at night. It's the perfect antidote to the more touristy beaches of South Tennerife! I highly recommend this idyllic fishing village to anyone looking for an authentic Tennerife experience.
The beach was really tranquil, but unfortunately there weren't any places to get a beverage. It would be a great spot for a quick visit.
This location is a great place to live, with easy access and all the amenities you could need.
