The beach was well-maintained and had ample parking space.
The beach is incredibly long, and the water is incredibly clear. They even have a section separated by rocks that provides a safe space for families with kids. It's nice and shallow, perfect for the little ones to swim in. Without a doubt, I will make sure to visit again when I return to Tobago.
The beach by the park is absolutely stunning. During our visit, the park was regularly cleaned and the rubbish was picked up almost every other day. However, it's important to note that there are no lifeguards on duty. Nonetheless, it's the ideal spot for unwinding on a hammock, soaking up the sun, taking in the breathtaking views, and engaging in sports activities.
The beach is stunning, with clear and usually calm waters. However, it's important to note that there are no lifeguards on duty. I deducted one star from my rating because during my visit, I noticed bags of rubbish on the sides of the road and some plastic items scattered along certain areas of the beach. This is particularly concerning as it is a nesting site for turtles, and if the plastics and other rubbish find their way into the water, it can be harmful to marine animals. They may mistakenly consume it and suffer fatal consequences. Additionally, these plastics can also entangle sea creatures, leading to deformities in their growth. It is crucial that we all take care in properly disposing of our garbage, considering the potential impact it can have on the environment.
I went to the beach on September 24, 2018. It was a stunning beach that wasn't too crowded. The beach is quite long and there are also some people selling fruits. Occasionally, the waves can get quite big, but it's still a pleasant experience.
