This beach is truly a hidden paradise on earth. I can confidently say that it is one of the most stunning bays in Kastamonu and definitely a must-see destination.
It is easy to miss this bay when traveling from Sinop to İnebolu, but it is worth a visit. The village has two entrances, with the first road entrance offering a nice view of the village and port. You can also walk to the castle for a stunning bird's eye view of Ginolu bay. If you miss the port road entrance, there is another entrance road 1 km away that leads directly to the castle and bay.
Located between İnebolu and Sinop, the castle is a must-see with its stunning view. As you pass by, make sure to stop and take in the beauty of the natural bay. It's a hidden gem that hopefully will remain untouched by too many visitors. Don't miss the chance to visit again and easily access the castle by car. While the houses near the castle may be a concern, they do help maintain the area around the ruins. Currently, there is no entrance fee, but there is a new container at the entrance, indicating that there may be a fee in the future.
The beach is located in the Çatalzeytin district of Kastamonu province. The upper part features Ginolu Castle, while the lower part is the beach. Parking is limited, but as of July 23, entrance to both the castle and the beach is free. The sea is quite rough and the beach is rocky, with no businesses in sight. It's a peaceful bay with few visitors. We reached the beach by taking the İnebolu-Abana route, and I personally found the mountain roads to be more impressive.
The beach is beautiful, but unfortunately it is littered with trash.
