The beach is a complete disaster. It's infested with people who are far from pleasant, and the lack of sand makes it even more uninviting. The stones are uncomfortable to walk on, and the water is polluted with garbage and debris. It's a pitiful sight to see how much trash is scattered everywhere, even beneath the water's surface. This place is nothing short of depressing.
This scenic beach is a delightful spot for a leisurely stroll, dotted with an abundance of charming cafes and bars to indulge in some refreshments.
Saranda beach boasts an unadulterated beauty that is rare to find in Europe. Although there are some areas that require improvement, I am still enamored with the beach despite its flaws. The waves vary in different parts of the beach, making it an ideal spot for families with children. The rental of chairs and umbrellas is available for a reasonable price of 15 euros, although they tend to get snapped up quickly due to the beach's popularity. This year, there are fewer tourists, and prices have increased significantly. However, the main attraction for me is the crystal clear water, which is simply breathtaking. I would advise visitors to bring reef shoes, as the beach is lined with pebbles instead of sand.
Sarandë, Albania boasts one of the most exceptional beach experiences in Europe, and I was pleasantly surprised by the beauty of its shores. Having seen photographs of the beaches for years, I had longed to experience them firsthand, and the wait was well worth it. The crystal-clear turquoise waters were perfect for playing in during the day, and the selection of restaurants offered fabulous food to indulge in. Despite the crowds in August, there were still plenty of beaches to choose from. The only downside was navigating the abysmal roads and the locals' tendency to drive with no rules. Nevertheless, the overall experience was fantastic, and I would highly recommend a visit to this stunning beach destination.
