Plaže na La Mareta

This place is a real gem, even though it's not much of a beach. People still flock here to sit on the rocks, take a dip in the sea, or even go fishing. There are plenty of renovations being done too, such as a pathway around the San Miguel coast. Although some restaurants are closed, La Marina 2 and a few others are still open for business. It's a great spot for a day out!

The wind is powerful - so strong that it's impossible to stay at the beach, even if you're standing or sitting, let alone sunbathing. The gusts are so forceful that it's like sandblasting your skin - and it's painful. Your clothes and bags will be covered in sand in a matter of minutes. The waves are huge and the current is so strong that swimming is both difficult and dangerous. On the plus side, the view of Montaña Roja is stunning. But unfortunately, this beach is not suitable for sunbathing or swimming. Besides, it's practically deserted, there are no lifeguards around, and you have to walk for 10 minutes through a construction site to get there.

The beach was a sight to behold! Kite surfers were soaring across the waves, their colourful sails brightening up the horizon. It was a beautiful day, and the sand was soft and inviting. Be sure to keep an eye out for the kite lines, though - they were scattered around the beach, just waiting to be tripped over!

This beach is the perfect spot for thrill-seekers and adventure-lovers! With strong winds for windsurfing and waves for surfing, you can enjoy a range of water sports here. There are plenty of rental centers for equipment, plus experienced instructors to help you get the most out of your experience. Highly recommended for those who love the thrill of the water!

The secluded secret beach.

This windy beach is located just a half hour walk from El Médano and is situated next to a dormant volcano, making it a great place to visit. What's more, it's easily accessible, making it an ideal spot for a day out.
